Response to a D&AD brief to produce 3 typographically focused posters advertising Saturday Sessions at the Ministry of Sound. The concept revolves around 90's nostalgia (MOS opened in 1991 and is 21 this year), movement, colour and light therefore the chosen medium is jelly. Bespoke jelly moulds of FF Pop by Neville Brody (released 1991) were made and jelly mixed to match the brand colours of MOS. Lyrics of 1991 dance tracks are used for the copy. 2012 -

A magazine exploring the word 'dissonance'. The narrative follows a schizophrenic girl and her travels between the countries of Reality and Non-Reality. The larger booklet represents Reality and uses japanese folds, which upon ripping open, reveal the smaller booklet of Non-Reality hidden inside. To fully experience Non-Reality, Reality must be irreversibly torn apart; those who do not tear Reality, can only peek at Non-Reality from the outside. 2012 Editorial Design, Photography, Art Direction -

Neekatave
Dynamic Sound Sculpture
Neekatave is the result of an experimental typography project. The concept was visualising spoken language. Each letter of the alphabet was assigned a sound frequency, which, when played through a speaker, caused a dynamic, sculptural reaction from the non-newtonian fluid (Oobleck). Each response was filmed and 26 videos created, each a visual representation of a specific letter of the alphabet. Because the project seeks to visualise spoken language which is intrinsically dynamic, Neekatave is never intended to exist as a static image. 2012 Typography, Graphic Design, Film -
A B Seed – Experimental Typography
Response to a 1 week brief to produce a non-alphabetic typeface. 26 seeds were hand drawn to create the characters, representing language as a living thing that grows, blossoms and dies.

Advertising brochure for Landor Phototex. The concept is to encourage the audience to play with the moustache samples in order to discover that Phototex really will stick to anything.
